Marie Antoinette felt that a low class person like Madame Du Barry should not be admitted to her banquets and royal balls. The struggle between Marie Antoinette and Madame Du Barry did not entertain Louis XV who ordered Marie Antoinette to speak to his favourite mistress, Madame Du Barry. The tension between Marie Antoinette and Madame Du Barry was real in history.
