Louis XVI

Louis XVI was a weak king. He paid no attention to neither his kingdom nor his wife, Marie Antoinette. He liked tinkering with locks as a hobby and enjoyed physical labor. In fact, he enjoyed physical labor more than spending time with Marie Antoinette. It is not surprising that Marie Antoinette later was suspected to have affairs.

Louis XVI was a pitiful figure in both history and Lady Oscar series. He was never known for being handsome. He was childish, slow and blandering - a very poor match for the beautiful Marie Antoinette indeed.
