This Marie Antoinette website tells the story of Marie Antoinette from her birth to execution. The website focuses on many important people in Marie Antoinette 's life such as her mother, the Empress Maria Theresa, who some pinned blame on for Marie Antoinette 's tragedy. The treaty of Versailles which Maria Theresa signed also came into play. The treaty of Versailles marked the event that would changed Marie Antoinette 's life forever. We also touched on the subject of the French revolution.

Marie Antoinette arrived in France in 1768 in order to marry Louis, who later became Louis XVI, King of France. Marie Antoinette was 14. She was young, innocent, naive and totally unprepared for the life she would have to lead in France.
