Question: Was Marie Antoinette a crappy movie or what?

I though it would be interested in watching something about Marie Antoinette and learn about why she was so well known, but the movie did not really have a good plot and it didn’t explain why the whole crowd outside the palace was mad at her, or show her get in trouble from sleeping with the other guy, show how her life ended (she got beheaded) OR did they say that it was the French Revolution, and just had a big mob wanting to kill her. And there was hardly any talk in the movie. The movie was pretty and it looked nice, but really the story really didn’t portray her life.

Answer: you're supposed to learn all the background in history class. or connect the dots ("queen of debt" is a clue). it didn't show her getting beheaded because that's implied. it did portray her life somewhat accurately, but sofia coppola said that she intended for the movie to be a "history of feelings", which means she wanted to explore how marie antoinette might have felt or said or done at key moments in her life.

Question: Did you notice the light blue converse?

Did anyone notice the light blue converse in the background of Marie Antoinette movie during the Shoes and Cake scene?
I bet Sophia put them in to see if you were paying attention of to stay with her color theme (you know how she is).

Question: Would Marie Antoinette really have loved her daughter like the film suggests?

I’m watching the Marie Antoinette film with Kirsten Dunst, and although I know that these Hollywood films tend to dramatise things, they did actually under-play her labour with Marie Therese a fair bit, considering the way Wikipedia portrayed it…so is her scene where she says that the baby is “no less dear to me” because she isn’t a boy, real?

Would she really have adored her baby girl so much in such sexist times?

Answer: She might well have; there's no reason why she wouldn't. She knew perfectly well that the child was less *important* than a son would have been, and that it was still vital for her to produce an heir to the throne. But that's quite different from feeling less love for her. (A mother in those circumstances might well love a daughter more precisely *because* she felt "poor little scrap, nobody wants you but me".)

Question: keds in “Marie Antoinette” movie?

In the middle of the movie, there is sequence where a lot of fancy shoes tried by Marie Antoinette is shown. At some point, for half a second or less I saw shoe that was quite different from the other and it definitely looked line a Keds shoe to me.
Did you notice it too? Or was I dreaming?
If it actually is there, what is the point?

Answer: I'm not sure...haven't seen the movie yet. There could've been Keds though...

Question: Where can I download movies for free?

I’m trying to download my favorite movie, Marie Antoinette, on Limewire so I can put it on my iPod. This is my first movie download, and for some reason all of the movies I’ve tried to download have a Trojan. Is there possibly another place where I can download virus-free free movies? Thank you! How can I solve this problem?

Answer: rapidshare.com would give you any kind of full movie with HD quality. but remember u must download the movie as part files which are compressed in rar files.
1.search the movie name with "rapidshare" word in google.
2.select anyone site from the google result.
3.copy the rapidshare links in notepad.
(paste a link in your browser's address bar)
4.now download all parts one by one.
5.after all parts downloading, select all rar files, n u will get your movie.
(remember, u must have a good software to extract the rar files like "universal extractor" or "7zip")

i know this suggestion is very tough n boring but if u got these all, u will have a great fun & enjoyment forever. Good luck.
