Question: Fashion show music – Marie Antoinette themed?

I am in charge of putting together the music for the costume portion of my school’s fashion show. The theme this year is Marie Antoinette. Any ideas for songs? I’ve already gone through the movie soundtrack and some classical music…other suggestions? I need 5-10 more songs.

Answer: Maybe “Ce Jeu” by Yelle? It’s upbeat French pop; it might work.

did that move suck big time? i hear its not really about the history at all. is it worth watching just to see the costumes?

Answer: It was ok the costumes were pretty cool but its not the best movie in the world thru out the whole movie she is just pretty much just trying to get her husband to sleep with her.

Question: Do German tourists have a bad reputation in America ?

I saw 2 episodes of the simpsons where Germans bashed America (problem Nr. 37 with america, no health care, problem Nr. 38 not using the metric system, what is this the Marie Antoinette era) ?

actually in Europe American tourists are far more favoured. Probably because trips to Europe are expensive, while within Europe the lower classes can afford to go boozing and puking on spain or the like.

Answer: not that I know of. There are plenty of german tourists here in New YOrk CIty. But Americans have a reputation of being loud and a bit uncultured!
