French Revolution Bourgeois

Question: why did the bourgeois of France…?
during the second part of the French revolution allow the peasants and all those radical groups like the Jacobins knock down the constitution of 1791? I mean they had it well, didn’t they?
Answer: As far as I know it is basically because they had seen first hand what happens to those who oppose revolution (guillotine) and didn't fancy the chop themselves, maybe a few of them did oppose the Jacobins but they obviously failed. Keep in mind they were outnumbered by the peasants.
Besides the middle classes were smart they took back control once napoleon was in charge.
