Question: A Christian, an Agnostic, and an Atheist during the French Revolution?

So a Christian, an Agnostic, and an Atheist are standing in line at the guillotine to be executed. The Christian is up first, the executioner gives them a minute for any last words and the Christian prays for his life, the blade starts to come down and stops half way. The executioner determines that they can’t kill him because god won’t allow it. The Agnostic is up next and uses his time to pray thinking that if he dies, he’ll die with his certainty; the blade starts to come down and stops half way. The executioner determines that they can’t kill him because god won’t allow it. Then the Atheist is up, he uses his time to say to the executioner “if I don’t die, you have to be fair and let me live my life too.” the executioner agrees thinking that god would never save an Atheist, the blade starts to come down and stops half way. The Atheist cheerfully walks away and says “By the way, there’s a rock stuck in the pulley.”

Answer: not really a question but cute anyway.
